Diving in a submerged oasis

The Sicilian sea offers many incredible surprises for those who wish to experience the excitement of diving. The Taorminan seabed is famous for its abundance of fish and for its crystal clear water. With this in mind the  Hotel Villa Carlotta offers its guests a unique diving package.

Expert multilingual guides will guide you  around the Taorminan seabed with dives only one minute distance from the boat. You will have the chance to see many different types of tropical fish, starfish, eels, lobsters and white and saddled bream. The dives are easy and for all levels. The dive starts with a plunge in the small lagoon which reaches a depth of about 18m.You then enter  a tunnel of about 5m to arrive inside the “Grotta Azzurra”.

The package consists of:

• Two days snorkeling along the coast of Taormina (Two hours per day)
• All diving apparatus and fish identification cards!
• Transport from the hotel to the sea
• Transportation by boat
• Expert multilingual guides
